The December 2025 edition of the Missionary Sisters of Service Newsletter is now live, and reflects on our four-day pilgrimage to Bruny Island, Tasmania, where the MSS story began in 1933. Sisters, friends and colleagues walked the land, reflected on the legacy of Fr John Wallis, and deepened their understanding of the MSS mission and its continuing relevance today. Highlights include being guided on Country by proud Melukerdee woman Alarna Page, visits to culturally and historically significant sites, and shared mass with the local parish community in Alonnah.
This issue also includes news about supporting the Highways and Byways Small Grants Program through Mary MacKillop Today, the announcement of the 2026 MSS Scholarship in honour of co-founder Teresa Morse, and a Christmas message of gratitude and blessing.
