The Missionary Sisters of Service warmly invite family, friends and all who have been touched by the life and ministry of Fr John Corcoran Wallis to join us as we remember, give thanks and celebrate the 25th anniversary of his death.
Fr John Wallis (1910–2001) was the visionary founder of the MSS and a much-loved priest of the Archdiocese of Hobart. Throughout his life he was deeply committed to bringing hope, friendship and the Gospel to people on the margins, and his vision continues to inspire the mission of our women today.
All are warmly welcome to join us for this special celebration:
Tuesday 27 October 2026
10.00am Mass at St Mary’s Cathedral
180 Harrington Street, Hobart, Tasmania
The Mass will be celebrated by Archbishop Tony Ireland. Light refreshments will be served afterwards.
