Friends, the April 2026 eNewsletter from the Missionary Sisters of Service is now available here. A downloadable PDF version is also available here.

This edition shares stories of presence, service and community—from Bernadette Wallis MSS reflecting on the MSS archives as a deeply meaningful and ‘living’ part of the congregation’s story, to Bernadette Madden MSS walking alongside communities impacted by recent Victorian bushfires.

Delving into the MSS archives, we honour the life and contribution of Anne Murphy MSS, remembering the care and connection she offered to many, and highlight the ongoing impact of the Mary MacKillop Today Highways and Byways Small Grants Program, supporting projects that foster culture, community and belonging across Australia.

Together, these stories (and many more in the eNewsletter) reflect the heart of MSS—accompanying people, preserving story and legacy, and responding where we can in our communities, where it’s most needed.
