It is wonderful to see one of the newest recipients of a Mary MacKillop Today Highways and Byways Small Grant already putting their project into action.
The Stanthorpe Rare Wildflower Consortium will host a Eucalypt ID Workshop in September, giving participants an opportunity to learn more about the diversity of eucalypts found in their local region.
Presented by Professor Rod Fensham, a botanist at the University of Queensland and Queensland Herbarium with broad experience researching the flora and vegetation of Australia, the workshop will begin with a theory session before heading into the field to explore and identify a variety of local eucalypt species.
