It’s with pleasure that we share our MSS December 2024 eNews with you, packed with out latest news and information. You can also download a printable PDF version of our MSS newsletter, here.

You’ll read news of our historic change in leadership and governance, where we welcome Sr Veronica Hoey SGS as our Canonical Delegate as of 11 October. There is news from our 2024 Bruny Island, Tasmania, pilgrimage, ending our official celebrations to mark our historic 80-year anniversary of foundation. Looking back, it’s been a fantastic year of celebrations in all the locations where our sisters live, the latest being Whyalla, South Australia. We’re so grateful to all who’ve been part of these special gatherings. As our founder, Fr John Wallis, used to say, often: Gratitude, Gratitude, Gratitude!

We congratulate Frances McShane who was awarded the Guildford Young Medal for Service to Community in Tasmania by the Archdiocese of Hobart, in November. And we also marked Frances’ 90’th birthday in late November. There is just so much to celebrate, and be grateful for! Be sure to grab yourself a coffee or tea, so you can relax while catching up on all our news. Blessings from all the MSS.
